What to include in bug reports
- Your device model and browser (e.g. “MacBook Air 13” + Chrome) - this helps us debug calibration issues, which are almost always display-specific.
- The URL or screen where you saw the problem.
- Anything you were trying to measure - it helps us improve the tool.
- Your approximate PPI setting if the ruler looked wrong (it is shown in the tool’s PPI field).
The ruler stores nothing on our servers, so we cannot see your measurements or settings - the more detail you include, the faster we can reproduce the issue.
Feature requests
What should the ruler do next? Common requests we are considering: more calibration objects, a vertical ruler mode, unit presets, and browser-extension packaging. Tell us your use case and we will weigh it against the rest.
